Symphonic Excellence

Sundays are my homework days. So what happens when I conquer the massive piles of Spanish, Astronomy, and Communication assignments? Festivities happen. Oh yes.

Aiyana invited me to accompany her over to the Westcott Cultural Fair, which is about a 10 minute walk from my dorm. Well, it WOULD'VE been 10 minutes, but we got lost on the way there AND on the way back.

No sense of time or direction

Aiyana's Spanish teacher told her that the Cultural Fair was her favorite event of the year, so we HAD to check it out. The golden spots at the fair were the break dancers and the fluffy dogs I saw in passing.

Seriously considering taking break dancing lessons

One the way back home, we wandered in the park and found and empty swimming pool and wildflowers.

Nature! 

The Syracuse University Symphonic Orchestra was performing in the Setnor School of Music tonight. This building is most commonly known as "Hogwarts" in campus. The venue was legit as ever: a chapel setting with stained glass windows and a pipe organ. The acoustics were fantastic.
