What's equally as cool as the Dalai Lama at SU?

WHOOPI GOLDBERG AT SU!
"I can't see the JumboTron with that bright ass light in my eyes."
I was at the Carrier Dome from 5PM-12AM on Tuesday night for a concert that blew my mind. It was totally worth it.
Orange glow sticks for everyone!
The stage is set
After the Dalai Lama did his 50 min discussion on peace, his friend Lama Tenzin Dhonden, said that music brings everyone together and that's why there were 20+ musicians present to bring down the house. After his heartfelt thanks he said, "Now it's time to rock!"

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CONCERT:
NATASHA BEDINGFIELD: When Natasha came on stage, she greeted the audience briefly and started to rock out with "Unwritten" her most famous song second to "Pocketful of Sunshine." Her performance was awesome but the best part was that EVERYONE in the Dome was singing along. Gosh, there' something about unison singing that really gets to me. The last time I enjoyed this song was on the 4th of July at Brown University during my summer program. This is constantly part of the soundtrack to my life.
ANDY GRAMMAR: It looks so cool being a celebrity. Andy sang "Keep Your Head Up" and ran through the audience. Here's a video from jjhoster on YouTube (thanks for posting!).
DALAI LAMA: Sporting a Syracuse University visor and saying that he has to go to sleep because he's old.

Sure I enjoyed the celebrities and world leaders at the One World Concert to find Common Ground For Peace. But the best part was finding ALL of my friends (who had different seats in the Dome but we somehow found each other) and sharing the experience with them. It sounds really corny, but the concert wouldn't have been as cool without the goofy people I consider my friends. They're all great.
Check out us classy gals

Johnny getting real peaceful
My favorite picture of Nimish. It's rare for this guy to express any kind of emotion in his face.
