Triple-Checking

Everything is packed! The haul consists of two suitcases, a backpack, and a trombone. I also found a package addressed to my dorm that I was supposed to send out ten days ago. I totally forgot what's inside.

I am overcome with excitement and I really need to eat because I was chatting too much about leaving during dinner. It's been six hours since I had those minimal bites of food.

A digital form of my best friend, Alex, kept me company while I triple-checked my packing list. He is going to the University of Pennsylvania (with the wonderful Dyana) next Wednesday so it was cool to spend my last moments in my hometown on Skype with the guy that lives on the next street over.

This guy! 

My community deserves a high-five. Thanks for the friendships, the employment, the education, the adventures, the mysteries, the food, the wilderness, the awesome weather, and the memories. I have about two and a half hours to sleep before I'm off to SFO with the parents.
