West to East

Today was full of tortuous time travel. Hm, what alliteration.

But really, think about it. I woke up at 3AM, caught a flight at 6:30AM, arrived in Ohio at 3PM, then arrived in Syracuse at 5PM. Even though it was only five hours of airtime, it certainly DID feel like the whole whopping 14 hours. Geography is a wondrous thing.

Also, walking through an airport holding a trombone is the most sinister situation I've ever been in. I felt really awesome. Check out the traveling musician!

On my connecting flight from Cleveland to Syracuse, I encountered a lot of fresh Orangemen. They were identifiable by their orange attire and luggage. I got to give them credit. Even I was sporting my citrus shades that Aiyana gave me for my birthday. The school spirit for Syracuse University is everlasting and energizing. I look forward to moving in tomorrow.

My parents and I drove through Syracuse in search of our motel and an Italian restaurant to stock up on carbs and satisfy our specific hunger pangs. We stumbled deliriously into Bambino's Bistro where we dined heartily on large plates of pasta.

I'm prepping for the day tomorrow because that's when I establish residence at school. Currently, my mom is trying to figure out Google Maps and my dad is calling his GPS a vast array of affectionately vulgar names. All is fine and dandy on this side.
I know things are probably poppin' back home, but things are about to get bubbly over here. I'll keep you posted.
